The epic comic character, Wonder Woman, has been the object of fantasy for generations. Whether or not a woman can convincingly carry off this avatar, has gone on to become a benchmark of whether she is attractive enough.

With the body-snuggling corset and the tight-fitting pants of this costume, there is no flaw that can be hidden, and no perfection that can go unnoticed as any woman takes on the ‘Wonder Woman’ challenge!

All the Erica Durance fans out there, who have been missing out on the action from this stunning diva, ever since she bid adieu to her phenomenal role on Smallville, have something huge to look forward to! Coming back to the connection between Erica Durance and Wonder Woman, the latest buzz is that Erica has signed up for a guest role on ‘Harry’s Law’, in the episode scheduled to air on January 11.

Erica will portray the role of a psychotic woman who believes that she is Wonder Woman, and will go to any extent to prove it.

The costume that Erica will sport in the exclusive episode will be the same one that was worn by Adrianne Palicki in the Wonder Woman pilot by David E. Kelley. Even though Erica has had a taste of what it feels like being Wonder Woman, as she stunned audiences with her Amazon Princess costume in Smallville, this is going to be even closer to the real thing!

Talking of her experience, Erica revealed that what she loved most about the outfit was its corset, which made her waist really tiny, and made her sit up straight. As for the worst part about it, that’s got to be the tight pants, even though she is quick to add that she prefers them to the underwear version of the costume.

When Erica Durance, a regular teenage girl from Canada, decided to try her luck in showbiz, little did she know that she was soon to become a name that would be indelible in the entertainment industry.

She landed one of the most coveted roles ever!

She got to play Lois Lane on Smallville.

Recalling her humble beginnings, Erica says that at that point, she was a struggling actress in Vancouver, trying hard to make her way into the industry, with random guest appearances.

When her manager informed her of the auditions for the role, she wasn’t quite interested, because it was time for her to take a break.

In retrospect, had she not gone for those auditions, she might have still been a struggling actress, or may have walked out of the profession completely.

However, luckily for her, (and us) she did go, and couldn’t believe it, when she actually got the role!

The pressure that came with playing the role was immense, since everyone who had read the books had their own ideas about what they wanted her to be like, and Erica had to live up to all that, and still manage to add her individual touch to the portrayal.

She remembers coming across all sorts of responses from fans, and admits, that there were negative ones too, from disappointed fans, especially after the time leap.

She says that she always takes criticism with a grain of salt, and does not let it affect her happiness.

Interestingly, when Erica was signed for the role, it was supposed to be just for a four-episode arc. But the positive response to her character caused the role to be elongated, and before she knew it, she was a regular cast member of the show, and an indispensable one at that!
