Smallville May Bring Some Surprises

Hello friends, I have an exciting news for you all. Our wait for season nine of Smallville will soon be coming to an end as The CW network has officially announced that the series will be renewed for the ninth season. How the season, will turn out, is yet a mystery though. And the key to the mystery is Tom Welling’s presence on the show.

Tom is portraying Clark Kent, “the star of the show”, I mean the lead character. It has yet not been announced whether he will come back or not, for the ninth season.

I still remember how terrible it was to watch Smallville in the beginning of season 8 without Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum. I missed them a lot and still do. It’s not just me, but all the fans of the show had the same reaction towards their departure. Though the creators somehow managed to save the show from downslide in the absence the two main characters, but this time around if the character of Clarke doesn’t continue or Tom gets replaced by anyone other actor, then it would be very hard for all its viewers to watch the show. I don’t think that the show will be able to maintain its ratings.

It has been revealed that a new character will be introduced in season 9. Mason, a man in his early 30s will be that character. Mason will be a lively person with few dark secrets. This has not been confirmed that who will portray the role.

The CW network is not in any sort of hurry to answers any of the questions publicly. And all we can do is to wait and hope for the best.

Smallville Star Blasts His Former TV Bosses

Hey friends! We have seen him as a calm and cool person on Smallville, but many fans of John Schneider, got to see the angry side of their beloved actor when he lashed out at his former television bosses. Apparently, John was angry about the fact that his former bosses from CBS had earned millions of dollars from sales of videos, DVD’s and merchandise of his super hit show The Dukes of Hazzard but had not paid anything to the cast members.

John had become quite famous with his portrayal of Bo Duke in the 1980s hit series. It has been twenty five years since the series stopped airing and according to the actor, the network still benefits by selling the merchandise of the show. He has further reported to have said that the cast members of the show had helped people, whom they had never met, make a fortune and that they deserve to receive some part of the profit which is being earned partly because of their talent and hard work.

I completely agree with the actor as I feel that, it is actually the actors who put forward what others think and write. They make us believe, things which might be impossible practically. They definitely need the support of an entire crew with various other talents, but then if they themselves are not talented enough the hard work put in by people who are in the background will be futile.

This is especially true in case of shows like Smallville where the actors have to make the audiences believe not only in the superpowers of a normal looking human being but also convince them about the existence of a parallel universe and many other such phenomenon. We must really compliment the entire cast and crew of Smallville, which has just completed the airing of Season 8.

Smallville has been successful in not only making people believe in the reality of Superman, but has also made them have a look at his strengths and weaknesses as a human being. In addition, Smallville has managed to successfully put across the message of getting above personal gains to work for the overall well being of the human race.

CW network Okays one more season of Smallville.

Hey Friends!!!

Yes, news is out that with Tom Welling on board, new seasons for Smallville have been asked for by CW this Tuesday.

Placing orders for seasons of around half a dozen popular shows, new programs seem to be not that happening this season. Among the new guns entering the fray are, Melrose Place, Lily (spin - off of popular teen drama Gossip Girl), The Vampire Diaries etc.

But no final decision has been reached over Reaper, The Game and Privileged. But the end has come for Everybody Hates Chris it seems as the network deems to have lot of episodes of show already.

So this would be the ninth season for Smallville. Isn’t that wow???

I know it sounded obvious that there will be another season, as the Superman show is performing exceedingly well and gaining impressive ratings.
I hear that the decision for another season would have been made public a long time back but the only problem was getting 32 year old Tom Welling say yes for another season. There are reports that he has been paid a whooping amount of money for the show.

There are certain voices which are terming the ninth season as the last one for the show, although no official word has been spoken so far. As things stand for now, it seems that it was not very easy for the network people to make Tom agree for the season. Who knows, he will be ready for another season or not???

Other shows which have been extended are: “Gossip Girl,” “One Tree Hill“, “Supernatural,” “90210,” and “America’s Next Top Model”.

All this seems to be a great strategy for the CW to survive the fierce wars raging amongst the TV networks.

Can Smallville Survive The Departure of Its Original Cast Members………???

Hey friends! I think the title of this write up is the question that has been troubling the minds of all the fans of Smallville tv show. Initially I was also worried about the same, when during the last season many original cast members including Michael Rosenbaum who played Lex Luthor, John Glover who played Lionel and even Kristin Kreuk who played Lana Lang left the show at one stage or the other. It seemed that the show which was already suffering from the loss of its original creators, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar was going to face some troubled times ahead. To tell you very frankly, I really feared that the show might face cancellation. However, as the first half of the eighth season proved quite successful, I feel that we do not have to worry about the future of the show. We surely miss wonderful Lana Lang or wicked Lex Luthor and even his evil father Lionel however we are still being entertained by the other members of the cast and crew of Smallville episode.

And guys, there is some good news as well! As you must have noticed, at least two of the three above mentioned characters are still going to make some guest appearances in this season and are likely to returning to do more in the future. So it’s okay if we are not able to see them in every episode. Our Smallville episode’s hero, Superman a.k.a. Clark Kent will get to face new challenges which will give more scope for expansion to the creators. Also maybe with Lana moving a little away, Clark will find someone else to share his love life with. Who knows he may even find love with Chloe.

Now that would be an interesting twist in the tale, wouldn’t it be guys? Anyways that is all yet to happen. For now Smallville tv show and Clark are adjusting to life without the three main original characters and it is really going well with Clark busy in saving the lives of people with the help of his special powers! So to end it, I would just like to say, one thing to the cast and crew of Smallville episode - Keep the good work up guys and we all love you!

What Makes The Upcoming Episode of Smallville So Special………!!!

Hey friends! Guess what, all I come across these days is the upcoming episode of our favorite superhero show Smallville. The episode named Legions is perhaps the most awaited episode of the series till date. All my friends just keep talking about the episode that is supposed to be aired on the 15^th of this month. So I thought what was so special about this episode that made it so popular even without being aired as yet. Well, I got the answer while I was surfing the net today. To start with, the episode marks the return of Smallville which has been on a midseason hiatus after the tenth episode of the current season was aired on 20^th November 2008. Secondly the episode introduces a multitude of super-heroes like Saturn Girl to be played by Alexz Johnson, Cosmic Boy to be played by Ryan Kennedy and Lightning Lad to be played by Calum Worthy. Also at least one new villain called the Persuader will be introduced into the Smallville universe.

Well, seems like there is really much to expect from this episode of Smallville and now that I know the reason, I am also waiting for the airing of this episode with bated breath. Although I love to see each episode of this superhero show, I am now really curious about the new characters that are to be introduced in the series. It would be fun to watch what new adventures Clark faces with his new friends and how he manages to keep himself safe from the deadly clutches of the Persuader. To tell you frankly I am regretting my decision of seeking out the reason for everybody’s curiosity about this episode. Oh don’t just start to misunderstand me.

Just imagine how exciting and surprising it would have been had we not known about the introduction of new characters. Although we still don’t know much except their suggestive names, yet a little bit of fun has been taken away. But anyways let’s not spoil the fun further and wait for the episode to be aired very soon.
