Season 3 of the adventure series Smallville premiered on 1st October 2003. The season aired a total of twenty-two episodes. In the first episode, Clark, becomes a criminal under the influence of red kryptonite and joins the crime lord, Morgan Edge, who asks him to break into LuthorCorp while Jonathan makes a deal with Jor-El to bring back Clark and reunite his family. Lex, who is believed to be dead, becomes stranded on a deserted island while Lionel blames Helen for Lex’s death. After getting temporary superpowers from Jor-El, Jonathan fights Clark, who unable to kill his father, disposes off the red kryptonite and returns home. Lex is also rescued and returns home with the intention of finding the person responsible for his plane crash while Morgan Edge tries to kidnap Clark to impress Lionel. Clark comes to know about Van McNulty killing people infected with green kryptonite and during a confrontation, Van stops him with bullets made from green kryptonite.

Later, Van tries to use Lana as bait but is unable to face the combined force of Lana and Clark. Clark is pulled into the dreams of a comatose girl named Sarah Conroy, and upon investigating, Clark learns about the suspicious activities of her uncle, Nicholas Conroy, who tries to kill Lana but is stopped in time by Clark. Perry White, a once famous journalist arrives in Smallville in search of some alien stories for a tabloid news show and learns about Clarks’ superhuman abilities. She devises a dangerous plan to expose his superpowers while Lex learns about Perry having some incriminating evidence about Lionel’s past.

smallville season 3 Lana’s great uncle shows her the picture of a man who closely resembles Clark, claiming him to be the murderer of her great aunt. Believing the killer to be Jor-El, Clark’s investigations lead him to a Kryptonian medallion, that allows him have a look at Jor-El as human, forty years ago. Lana’s new boyfriend has magnetic powers that can not only move objects but also alter human emotions. Lana attacks Clark, when he tries to rescue her from this magnetic spell while Lex learns about Chloe investigating into Lionel’s past and tries to convince her for teaming up with him in his fight against his father. Lex has a close brush with death when he tries to reveal about the dirty dealings of Morgan Edge with Lionel, and seeks Clark’s help. However, upon investigating, Clark is told by Lionel about Lex suffering from a psychotic break and as evidence of his mental condition starts building up, Lex is institutionalized in the Belle Reve sanitarium.[Read More.......]
